"Professor Borivoje Jelic"
On 29th March 2024, the second competition for the "Professor Borivoje Jelic" award was held at the premises of the Secondary School in Nova Varos.
Literary Competition for Students of the Secondary School in Nova Varos
The competition was conducted according to the rules set out in the announcement published on our portal.
At the beginning of the event, the sealed envelope containing the competition topic was opened by Professor Milana Perosevic Martinovic. This year's topic was "A Healthy Family – The Foundation of a Healthy Society".
Ten students from the Secondary School in Nova Varos participated in the competition. All the works were scanned and submitted to Dr. Oliver Subotic (one of the founders of the Petar Mandic Endowment and a Board member designated for contest coordination). Dr. Subotic will forward the scanned works, under their respective pseudonyms, to each member of the committee individually.
The original, paper copies of the works have been retained by the Secondary School for their archives.
To eliminate any potential influence on the committee, its composition will be announced once the decision on the awarded works has been made. The winning works will be listed under the pseudonyms under which they were submitted. The results of the committee’s selection will be published on our portal on 10th April, coinciding with Professor Borivoje Jelic’s birthday.
After decoding the names of the authors, the winning works will also be published on our portal.
