General conditions
During the scholarships competition, students are required to submit documentation in electronic format.
Required documentation
- A completed application;
- Certificate of faculty enrolment at a university;
- For students of other and higher schools, the proof of passing exams - that is the average grades accomplished;
- References from secondary schools (only for freshers);
- Copy of the candidate’s birth certificate;
- Copy of the candidate’s ID card (scanned through a reader);
- The personal views about what aspects inspires the candidate from the character and works of Nikola Tesla.
Students from vulnerable social groups (in addition to the above-mentioned documents) also submit evidence of belonging to a vulnerable social group.
An approved scholarship for a given year is paid in one transfer to the bank account provided by the candidate.
The winner of a scholarship also receives a copy of Tesla: Duhovni lik (Tesla: The Spiritual Character) with a dedication from the author.
The scholarship recipient student has an exclusive moral obligation, which primarily entails diligence and commitment to the acquisition of knowledge and virtues, in line with the motto of the "Petar Mandic" Endowment, derived from the following quote:
"It is very difficult to find a person who possesses all three qualifications: knowledge, righteousness and selflessness" (Nikola Tesla, Letter to his nephew Nikola Trbojevic, 1928).
