The "Petar Mandic" Endowment considers the implementation of initiatives related to the topic of parenthood as one of its main goals.

Starting parenting schools

One of the strategic goals of the "Petar Mandic" Endowment is to start parenting schools. In its initial form, the Endowment aims to start regular winter and summer parenting seminars on Mount Zlatar in the area of the Nova Varos municipality where Petar Mandic was born.

The goal of the seminars is to equip young married couples, as well as people who are just planning to get married, to acquire knowledge complementary to the Christian value system, particularly concerning the formation and development of a family.

The mentioned one-week seminars would be held by clinical psychologists with experience in the given field, and the Endowment already has cooperation with the clinical psychologist Vlajko Panovic. The Endowment has a similar collaboration with Dr. Ranko Rajovic, a doctor of neuroscience, to give lectures for young parents regarding practical advice for improving children's intelligence and early stimulation of their abilities.

In the long term, the Endowment's goal is to introduce a regular course called Parenting in the final grades of secondary schools.
