Support for young people Support for young people Based on the conclusions of the meeting of the Board of Directors of the "Petar Mandic" Endowment, held on December 26, 2024, the Board of Directors of the Endowment decided to support a young mother, Neira Cicic, a freshman at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade. Support from Endowment for young couples Neira was among the students who applied for the Endowment's scholarship, but she was not its winner. However, with her previous work and the multiplication of her talents, she deserved to be supported by the "Petar Mandic" Endowment as a young mother-student. The Endowment's financial support to the young student, Neira Cicic, in the form of a one-time grant, is awarded for 40,000.00 Serbian dinars. The members of the Endowment's Board of Directors, including Oliver Subotic (founder), Vladimir Obucina (manager), Nikola Puric (President of the Board of Directors), Simo Dasic (member), Miroslav Ljujic (member), Zeljko Djajic (member), Bobisa Marinkovic (member), Aleksandar Vranic (member), Jelenko Jadzic (member) and Slavko Radmilovic (member), unanimously made the above decision, which the Foundation hereby informs the public about. The decision to provide financial support to the young mother, Neira Cicic, and her family was made by the proclaimed goals and priority activities of the "Petar Mandic" Endowment, included in the Statute, which concern the affirmation of parenthood in Serbia. At the same time, the decision is made as an incentive for freshman Neira to fulfil her future college obligations fully. We hereby inform the public that the Board of Directors of the Endowment has also made an important decision of principle: that every December 26/13, the day when the great man of the Nova Varos region is celebrated, the Holy Patriarch-Martyr Gavrilo Rajic (Raskovic), as a sign of support for parenthood, will award financial assistance to a young couple from Nova Varos. Financial assistance will, as before, be awarded using the internally adopted methodology that prevents any form of nepotism. It will be made completely transparently and with publicly available reasoning.
