Endowment Endowment The "Petar Mandic" Endowment was founded on 26th April 2021. It was named after Petar Mandic, the first long-term director of the Nova Varos Cultural Centre, who was the doyen of the post-war cultural scene in Nova Varos and a dedicated worker in the field of education. He was the doyen of the cultural scene and a dedicated worker in the field of education in this small town near Zlatar. During his life, he held many positions - from teacher and school headteacher, through the director of education and culture to the director of the "House of Culture", the cultural centre of Nova Varos, which was an almost three-decade role for which he is remembered.
