Details about the Lecture
"Knowledge of the functioning principles of artificial intelligence models is not just a challenge for today's scientists; it is a mandatory skill, whether they are involved in the study of natural or socio-humanistic sciences.
Since artificial intelligence (AI) models do not require explicit programming but "learn" based on experience, numerous datasets collected to assess the ecological status of a specific ecosystem can serve as an excellent basis for training AI-based models.
The primary benefit of applying AI models is the ability to process large datasets and variables that do not have mutual linear dependencies. Once developed, a machine learning model can serve as a useful tool in ecosystem monitoring in future research, enabling prompt responses from relevant institutions to prevent ecological disasters.
The ability to process satellite images and data collected from specific sensors using artificial intelligence models represents a new stage in scientific research in the field of ecological studies. This provides scientists with numerous opportunities for achieving sustainable development and environmental preservation."
