Dr. Ivana Krtolica About the Lecturer, Dr. Ivana Krtolica Dr. Ivana Krtolica is a research associate at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence. She earned her basic academic education at the Faculty of Sciences in Novi Sad, majoring in Biology/Chemistry, where she completed her undergraduate and master's studies. She completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, majoring in Environmental Protection Engineering. During her research for her doctoral dissertation, she applied artificial neural network models to assess the ecological status of the Danube based on the dependencies of biological and chemical parameters collected during the Joint Danube Research organized by the International Commission for the Protection of the Danube. She continues her research at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence on the application of artificial intelligence models in the field of environmental protection engineering. Engaged by the United Nations as a National Consultant for the application of artificial intelligence in Green Agenda projects.
