Dr. Branislav Kisacanin, the leading promoter of AI technologies at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia, and an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering (FTN, the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad), will hold a lecture on artificial intelligence.
"What are we to expect from artificial intelligence?"
The lecture on artificial intelligence by Dr. Branislav Kisacanin will be held on May 31st at 12 p.m. on the premises of Matica Srpska. Apart from him, the lecture will also be held by Oliver Subotic, Presbyter of the Serbian Orthodox Church, and one of the founders of the "Petar Mandic" Endowment.

"The aim of this lecture is to graphically explain to the broader expert and cultural public what the artificial intelligence is, where it is being used daily and what other applications can we expect in the next few years.
We also wish to use this opportunity to begin important discussions about several key issues, to which we, as scientists and engineers are unable to offer full and complete answers, such as, for example, the potential dangers of this new technology."

About Dr. Branislav Kisacanin
Dr. Branislav Kisacanin is one of the instigators of the Instutute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia. He was born and raised in Novi Sad, where he recieved the Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj award as a high-school graduate. He is an Electrical engineering graduate of the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad and has a doctorate in Electrical engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of Illinois, USA.
During his post-graduate studies in Chicago, he learnt a lot about altruism and philanthropy from the academician Dr. Miodrag Radulovacki and is deeply motivated by his work.
He has built his career so far in the industrial research centres in the USA, most recently in Nvidia. He is a renowned expert in the area of the use of artificial intelligence in automobile security systems and automatic driving. He is the author and editor of several science books, special edition science magazines and international patents.
