"Digital Rubicon" "Digital Rubicon" As announced on our website, on the Feast of the Presentation, 15th February 2024, in the premises of the Jovan Tomic Library in Nova Varos, the book "Digital Rubicon" by Dr. Oliver Subotic, one of the founders of the “Petar Mandic” Endowment, was presented. Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence at the Book Promotion in Nova Varos In addition to the author, the audience in Nova Varos had the pleasure of listening to and exchanging views with Prof. Dr. Branislav Kisacanin, a leading promoter of AI technologies from the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia, who is also the main reviewer of the book. The turnout was excellent, with all seats in the hall filled. After the introductory speeches, Dr. Subotic and Dr. Kisacanin initiated a fruitful discussion by answering questions from the audience, which was noted for its discerning and thoughtful questions. The conclusion of the gathering emphasized the importance of including all societal structures in the dialogue to adequately formulate strategies and responses in this field. The event concluded on a particularly festive note with a gift from Dusan Mandic, a multipotentialite from Nova Varos - engineer, entrepreneur, karate trainer and artist - who presented his own painting of the White Angel to the “Petar Mandic” Endowment.
