Dr Olivera Djokic Dr Olivera Djokic Dr Olivera Djokic, a professor at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Belgrade (formerly the Teacher Training Faculty) and a permanent member of the Petar Mandic Endowment’s Expert Council, has decided to become one of our patrons. Endowment Gesture by an Expert Council Member Through a donation agreement with the Petar Mandic Endowment, Professor Djokic has pledged a portion of the royalties from her book, Theories of Mathematics Education I – A Contribution to the Methodology of Teaching Mathematics in Primary Schools [Теорије математичког образовања I – Прилог методици наставе математике у основној школи], in every future edition. Additionally, the professor is willing to extend the same arrangement to all subsequent editions of new textbooks currently in manuscript form or in the process of development. Professor Djokic has expressed her wish that these funds be directed to the Endowment’s scholarship fund for young students, which we will be more than happy to fulfil. We extend our gratitude to our esteemed Expert Council member and wish her continued success with her publications in the field of mathematics teaching methodology.
