"Digital Challenge", "Digital Rubicon"
At the parish home of the Church of St. Alexander Nevsky in Belgrade on December 2, 2023, a book promotion for Digital Challenge (third edition) and Digital Rubicon (first edition) was held.
Dialogue on AI at the Book Promotion
During the book promotion, where all author royalties go to the "Petar Mandic" Endowment, an engaging conversation on the topic of artificial intelligence was conducted.
Participants included Prof. Dr. Vesna Damjanovic (Faculty of Organizational Sciences), Prof. Dr. Dragan Novkovic (School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science), Branimir Nesic (publisher Catena mundi), and Presbyter Dr. Oliver Subotic (author).
Following interesting introductory presentations about the books and on the topic of artificial intelligence, a dialogue with the audience ensued, for which extra seating had to be arranged in the hall due to the timeliness of the subject matter.
At the end of the event, special greetings were extended to the scholars of the "Petar Mandic" Endowment: Ana Popovic (first scholar), Milos Todorovic, and Anja Trtovic (this year's scholars). They were seated throughout the event as honorary guests in a special lodge, along with members of the Board of Directors, Vladimir Obucina (director), Nikola Puric (president of the Board), and Slavko Radmilović (Board member).
Following the lectures, the scholars received books as gifts from the authors.
On this occasion, the Endowment expresses gratitude to Nebojsa Misevic, who recorded the event, and to Television Hram, which broadcasted and provided us with video material for posting.
